Vehicle Crime, Avenue Road, Newport

Between 11.30pm 12th and 7.30am 13th October a vehicle parked on Avenue Road, Newport has been attacked, one of the windows broken and tools and the spare wheel taken from within.

This may be connected to a call received on the evening of 12th October from a resident of Oak Avenue reporting that two youths had been seen looking into cars in the Oak Avenue / Ashworth Way area at around 7.30pm. No one was located on that occasion.

We would ask anyone living in those areas who may have CCTV (including video doorbells) to check their footage and contact police should they find any footage which may be of use to the investigating officers.
