A 54 year old Malvern man has this afternoon been arrested and taken into custody in relation to several recent thefts.

The male was seen to get on the 44 bus on Madresfield Road by Police Community Support Officer Kevin Tudge of the Pickersleigh and Chase Safer Neighbourhood Team who cover the Barnards Green, Elgar Avenue, Poundbank area of Malvern.

PCSO Tudge was able to follow the bus with the male seen to get off the bus in Barnards Green.

Officers attended Barnards Green to make the arrest.

Malvern Police work hard to help support Malvern retailers and will continue to act swiftly in dealing with suspects.

The male is one of multiple suspects that PCSO Tudge has helped to catch and bring into custody in recent months.
