ALVECHURCH | Officers from C shift patrol came across a fly-tip on Watery Lane this week. Some of the items were of interest to officers and seized, whilst the rest will be dealt with by the council. Our local councils have a team of enforcement officers who investigate fly-tipping on public land and public highways, including grass verges and footpaths.

Whilst in the village PC Homer, PC Lumley, and PC Hohman took the opportunity to conduct a speeding operation, following concerns from the community and local councillors. Several drivers were stopped and spoke to regarding their driving.
