Dogs die in hot cars

With the warm weather upon us there are still people that believe it's ok to leave their dog in a vehicle on a hot sunny day if they're parked in the shade or the windows are open.

The inside of a vehicle can become extremely hot, even when the weather outside doesn't feel that warm, this can clearly be hazardous to the animal and causes unnecessary suffering or even death.

  • If anyone sees a dog who appears to be suffering while unattended in a vehicle on a warm day, please report this to the police immediately.
