Careers talk - Bridgnorth Endowed School

Dear Resident

Sergeant Mason, Senior Police Community Support Officer Stephen Dunn-Brown and Police Constable Emma Strangwood today visited Bridgnorth Endowed School to speak to Year 10 pupils about the pros (and cons) of working for the police.  We were asked several questions, which included: What GCSEs are needed to be a police officer?  Do we enjoy our jobs?  What is the starting salary for various roles?  What are the entry routes in to policing?

The students were really engaged with the short discussion we had.  We wish them well in the future with what ever career they decide to take.
