On Wednesday 24th July following concerns about speeding through Aldington village and Snowshill Rd Broadway i carried out speed enforcement checks at both locations, both of which are covered by a 30mph restriction. 

I stayed at both location for approximately 30 mins-

Aldington, main street, 25 vehicles checked highest speed 27 mph and average was 24 mph. Village street, 17 vehicles checked, highest speed 24 mph and average was 17mph. 

Snowshill road Broadway, 22 vehicles checked, highest speed 28 mph and average was 21 mph. 

We will continue to carry out speed enforcement checks and different locations each week.
