It is now even easier to get in contact with your local Safer Neighbourhood Team, thanks to our upgraded Neighbourhood Matters community messaging service. Neighbourhood Matters was first introduced in July 2021, and enables residents, business and community groups across Worcestershire, Shropshire, Herefordshire and Telford & Wrekin to find out more about what is happening in their local community.

The new upgraded system will make it easier to contact safer neighbourhood officers and Police Community Support Officers through an email system and by providing mobile phone numbers to directly contact Safer Neighbourhood Teams whilst they are on duty. This is in line with the West Mercia Police local policing community charter, which sets how the force will engage and communicate with communities.
