The doors to Malinsgate Police Station in Telford will open to the public again this September for a unique look behind the scenes of West Mercia Police.

Following the success of last year’s Open Day, where around 5,000 people attended, the public are invited yet again to come along on Sunday 15 September, 2024 to meet their local policing teams, as well as explore the station’s custody suite.

People will get the chance investigate a crime scene, meet our police dogs, speak to their local officers and even find out how you could join West Mercia Police. The event will start at 11am and run until 4pm, and is open to all ages.

There will also be a quiet hour from 10am until 11am for people to attend, where the sirens will be turned off allowing people with SEND to explore the stands and meet officers.
