This week, the focus of your Safer Neighbourhood Team will be on vehicle related crime. While vehicle crime across West Mercia is an area of focus, this week will see a concerted effort to raise public awareness regarding the risk of vehicle crime, running operations to tackle ASB vehicle use, speeding and both theft of vehicles and items from within vehicles.

Our operational activity will be aimed at being highly visible to deter criminal activity and we will also be attending commercial premises across the area where we will offer crime prevention materials and advice to staff and customers.

We encourage everybody to consider their vehicle security and to any report suspicious activity to West Mercia Police or if it is not happening at that time, directly to your Safer Neighbourhood Teams.
