Donnington Bonfire and Fireworks Display takes place each year on the Broad Oaks Playing Fields at Donnington in Telford.

Preparations have been under way for the return of one of Telford's biggest annual events, which is set to go off with a bang next Saturday. The event will see Broad Oaks Playing Field filled to the brim with fairground rides and food vendors.

The event will be opened at 4pm. This year's event includes two firework displays, the first will be a Children's Firework Display at 7.00pm, the Bonfire will be lit at about 8pm (on completion of firework display) and the Main Firework Display will be at 8:45pm.

Vehicle access will be from Wellington Road (Donnington Wood Way) to the car park area on the east of the playing fields. Pedestrian access will be via 2 entrances situated off Wellington Road, Donnington.

During the event there will be neither alcohol allowed on site nor alcohol sold on site.

It is anticipated the event will close at 10:30pm.
