Please be ‘frightfully thoughtful’ of others if you are planning to take part in Halloween trick or treating and be extra ‘s-careful’ when visiting people’s homes. That is the message from West Mercia Police this spooky time of year when seasonal revellers, particularly children and young people, enjoy the chance to dress up and go trick or treating. However, while Halloween is a fun time for many, it can leave others feeling worried or intimidated, or simply not wanting to be visited by trick or treaters. “However, while we don’t want to spoil anyone’s enjoyment, we are asking if you plan on trick or treating that you are mindful of others who may not want to get involved, as trick or treaters can sometimes leave some people feeling worried or intimidated. “Residents can also sign up to our free Neighbourhood Matters website, which allows communities to raise concerns directly with their local policing team about anti-social behaviour and crime in their area.” JI, Corporate Communications | ||||
