Safer Neighbourhood Team attend the Craft Fair the Cavalier Equestrian Centre

Police Constable Emma Strangwood and Police Community Support Officer Malcolm Goddard attended the Craft Fair at the Cavalier Equestrian Centre between 10:00 and 14:00 on Saturday the 16th of November.  They were there to talk to members of the public about home security, how to stay safe now that the nights are darker and any general enquiries about local Policing.

One of the shetland ponies from the centre was being walked around the Fair to get them used to people and Emma took the opportunity for a photo, the pony was not impressed with our suggestion for a West Mercia Horse Detachment!

These events are a fantastic opportunity for Officers from the team to get out and about to meet local residents and ask them what their concerns are.  We were also able to talk to other stall holders, staff and volunteers from the centre.  The centre offers a wide range of opportunities and with our better knowledge of what is available we will be able to sign post some of partner agencies in their direction.

If you have any community events that you think could benefit from attendance by Officers from the team, please contact us on our email bmw.snt@westmercia.police.uk and we will see if we can be available.
