An event is set to take place later this month in Shropshire giving women and girls the chance to meet with local officers. The event is being organised by Sergeant Liam Heathcote from the Market Drayton Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) aims to give attendees the chance to raise any concerns they may have within their local community. There will also be female representatives from our partners including domestic abuse officers, schools and family support, crime prevention advisors, town council representative as well as police officers. Our staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice and support. There will be a “Walk and Talk” giving people a chance to identify to officers any areas of concerns with the town centre. The event is for women and girls only, and will be held on Monday 25 November at 3pm until 6pm in Market Drayton town centre. We will me meeting outside the Town Hall. The event is also being held on White Ribbon Day, which is the globally recognised symbol to end men’s violence against women and girls.
