This week has seen West Mercia take part in Operation Sceptre - whereby police and communities across the UK tackle knife crime and try to make our streets safer. 

These weeks are about prevention, education and enforcement using a concentrated effort to make a measurable impact on reducing knife crime. We want to send a clear message that police are actively working to protect communities from knife related violence.
 

To round up the end of this week we've had another knife surrendered here in Pershore - this will now be destroyed and is another one off our streets.
