We have had reports of mud on the public road in the Melverley area from the church back into the village.

This has been caused by maize being harvested followed by the farmer carrying slurry onto the field to allow a new pit to be built.

The farm manager has been told to keep clearing the road as the road is very slippery.

He is going to do so, even though he has been doing so already.

Hopefully the current rain will help the situation.

Please drive to the road conditions and slow down allowing extra braking distance.
