Burglary appeal: Can you help?

We are appealing to members of the Broadwaters community for information following a burglary at a home on Brecknell Rise.

The burglary took place overnight of the 19th/20th November.

Offenders gained entry making an untidy search, stealing a mobile phone and a number of prescription medications inside the address. There's is no available information concerning the number or description of the offenders at this time, other than the crime appears to be opportunist in nature. No entry was forced and the suspect(S) were able to gain entry via an insecure door.

Did you see anything suspicious or have any information that might help enquires?

Please get in touch with us by calling 101 and quoting incident number 00091_I_20112024.

If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org

In other news, as a result of a call to police relating to suspicious activity elsewhere in the Wyre Forest, the recent theft of a VW Caddy Van reported on Broadwaters on the 15th November was located on a false licence plate and has been recovered.

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.

Kind regards,

PCSO 6472 Ryland
