Recovery of a stolen motor vehicle

Officers from Kidderminster safer neighbourhood team have carried out proactive patrols and located a stolen Nissan Navara on Coronation Way, Kidderminster which has now been recovered. The vehicle was on cloned plates, stolen from another force area and may have been used to commit further crime.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your property - where possible remove all valuable items from your vehicle before leaving it unattended and always ensure it is locked. Consider purchasing a steering wheel lock for extra security for your vehicle.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to this incident or if you were in the area and saw anything suspicious, between 0945hrs and 1000hrs on Thursday 21st November.

We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle.

If you have information about this or any other suspected crime, please let us know using the online ‘Tell Us About’ form on our website www.westmercia.police.uk, quoting incident reference 51_I_21112024

If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org

If you ever feel at risk, or a crime is in progress, please always dial 999.

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.

Kind regards,
