Dear resident,
Whilst on foot patrol this morning I was asked when about the rules in relation to renewing a UK driving licence, therefore I thought it would be a good idea to share the following information with you.
Do you know your responsibility when it comes to your driving licence??? Its against the law to drive with an invalid driving licence. You must renew a photocard licence every 10 years, once you reach 70 this is every 3 years and you must inform DVLA if you develop a ‘notifiable’ medical condition or disability or a condition or disability has got worse since you got your licence. www.gov.uk/driving-medical-conditions If you have been disqualified from driving you will also have to re-apply for a new licence or in some cases may have to retake your test again. If your driving licence has expired your insurance will also be invalid. You should receive a reminder before your current licence ends but take time | ||||
