PC Lydia Burrows, Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) for South Worcestershire, and PC Beards from the Evesham Town Centre Team were out in the Evesham Market Place yesterday evening.  Lots of people were spoken to, advice was provided and people were signed up to Neighbourhood Matters. Personal safety alarms were also handed out to those who requested them. The officers were also advertising ‘Strut Safe’ which is a free number you can call and speak to someone whilst you are walking home. This is available on a Friday and Saturday between 7pm - 3am and also on a Sunday, 7pm-1am. The number to call should you require this service is 0333 335 0026.
