On Saturday the 30th of November, the Broseley Christmas Lights Switch on took place in the town and was a great success.  As well as several hundred people from the town and beyond, all three Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team attended.  PC Emma Strangwood and PCSOs Helen Scott and Malcolm Goddard were made to feel very welcome by all the wonderful people that they met and spoke with.  Special events were organised at different times and at a number of locations throughout the town, culminating in the procession through the High Street.

The event organisers deserve praise for the way the whole thing was put together, multiple locations and dozens of people were involved and it all worked extremely well on the night.  The seamless operation meant that people who attended were able to have a fantastic time as they moved around from each of the separate locations.  There was something for people of all ages and the finale of the Lights being switched on was accompanied by a fantastic firework display.
