This afternoon (Sunday 1st December 2024) Malvern Patrol along with Malvern Safer Neighbourhood Team responded to a report of Theft from Store from LIDL, Worcester Road, Malvern which has just occurred. The offenders had made off with a large amount of medicines which they loaded into several bags. 

 Two males aged 36 & 37 and a female aged 27 who had travelled to the area from Birmingham were located a short distance away in Victoria Park and were promptly arrested by officers. On arrest it was discovered they had also stolen items from other stores in the area. The total value stolen is estimated to be over £700 which has now been recovered.

 ll three are currently remain in custody for questioning. 

As we stated yesterday, Shoplifting will not be tolerated in Malvern and we will seek prosecution for anyone caught stealing.
