On Wednesday evening of 4th December 2024 police received a call reporting that a male was on their land near in the Hinton on the Green, Childswickham area and in possession of a weapon carrying out illegal poaching. 

Officers from team A Evesham quickly attended the area along with the land owner and the male was located with an air riffle and pheasants that he had already shot. 

He was swiftly arrested for poaching offences and is now on police bail while further enquiries are made. 

We would urge any one that witnesses such offences to continue to the report via 999 if in progress or 101 if reporting after the event.
