Criminal Damage

We are investigating criminal damage to St Cassians Church, Chaddesley Corbett and are appealing to local residents for information. The theft has taken place sometime between late evening on Sunday 15th and Monday 16th

We believe that the thieves were after lead flashing, but after having it stolen some years ago the church had replaced it with an alternative product. However this has not stopped the thieves from stealing copper and causing a substantial and costly amount of damage in the process. Below are two images of the damage caused

If you have information about the damage please let us know using the online ‘Tell Us About’ form on our website www.westmercia.police.uk, quoting incident reference 22/109370/24

If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.
