During recent burglary patrols, officers have seen some great Christmas decorations however, there have also been a number of properties where the curtains have been left open at night, showing of very nicely decorated trees with lots of presents underneath. Unfortunately, these often valuable presents can been an easy target for criminals and the christmas tree lighting illuminates the surrounding presents. Our advice would be to ensure curtains are drawn at night to hide these items.
