Good evening residents in and around Fownhope,

We have received reports of a male wandering around Scotch Firs with a torch very late into the evening on Tuesday 17/12/2024 and into the early hours of Wednesday 18/12/2024. A white works van has also been seen driving slowly up and down the road.

If you see, or have seen any similar suspicious activities, please contact your safer neighbourhood team at herefordrn.snt@westmercia.police.uk. Any information you may have, including vehicle registration markers, may help us in our enquiries.

Remember to stay safe during the dark evenings by locking your doors and using any chains or bolts you may have on your doors. Other steps you can take to secure you property include ring doorbells, CCTV cameras and motion sensor lights. These all act as a deterrent and help keep you and your property secure.
