Dear Resident On Wednesday the 18th and Thursday the 19th of December, all three Officers from the Much Wenlock and Broseley Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) took part in four operations throughout the area targeting speeding, anti-social driving, drink driving and rural crime. The SNT were working in cooperation with other teams from across south Shropshire for a coordinated approach, 12 patrol cars and over twenty officers were involved. Speed surveys were conducted in Much Wenlock, Shipton and Benthall and all vehicles checked were found to be well within the speed limit (thank you). Checks were conducted on a number of vehicles that were either seen in suspicious circumstances or were brought to the attention of the SNT for other reasons. Reports on a number of them have been submitted to bring relevant information to the attention of other officers. The SNT have been conducting such operations throughout this year and will be continuing to do so into 2025. If you have anything that you think the SNT need to be aware of please get in touch with us by emailing us on bmw.snt@westmrcia.police.uk or using the reporting page of the West Mercia Police website. If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime. Kind regards, PCSO Malcolm Goddard
