Man arrested in warrant over stolen motorbikes in Droitwich


A man has been arrested for stealing a motor vehicle and handling stolen goods in Droitwich following a warrant carried out in Worcester.

The 21-year-old was arrested for theft of motor vehicle, handling stolen goods and theft during the planned warrant at an address in Berkeley Close, Whittington, on 31 December 2024 and was bailed pending further enquiries.

The warrant was executed following a ram raid to a garage that happened at an address on Farriers Way, Droitwich on 28 December.

Two motorbikes that were stolen in that incident were recovered and will shortly be returned to their owner.

Police Sergeant Cathy Atkinson of Droitwich Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) said: “We are pleased to have quickly recovered the stolen motorbikes taken in a ram raid on Farriers Way between Christmas and New Year.

“A warrant was successfully executed at an address in Worcester on 31 December to recover the bikes and a man, 21, arrested in connection to them being stolen who was bailed pending further enquiries.

“The bikes will be returned to their rightful owner.”
