On Monday the 13th of January 2025, PC Rochester attended Lloyds Bank on Evesham High Street to engage with members of the public regarding fraud and Cyber crime. While engaging with members of the public, a call was made to police from NATWEST Bank, also on the High Street, reporting that an elderly male may be a victim of fraudulent activity. This matter was resolved at scene by PC Rochester and Evesham Town Centre Team, as the male was given advice around fraud and what to look out for in the future. Around this time of the year it is important to be vigilant with financial transactions. If you’re unsure if a transaction is fraudulent or not, make sure to look for advice from family members and friends before making any large transactions. If you feel as though you are a victim of fraud, or know someone who might be, you can contact Action fraud at www.Actionfraud.police.uk or you can report it by calling 101 or online: Report a crime | West Mercia Police |
