Distraction Theft - Albrighton

We are appealing for any witnesses that may of been in the area of the Co-op Store on the High Street, Albrighton at 09:00 on the 14th January 2025. A member of the public was approached by male described as Eastern European, scruffy looking around 5ft 7 asking for directions and getting very close into their personal space, before getting into a small dark coloured vehicle and driving off. Shortly after this incident the member of public has noticed their wallet had been stolen from within their jacket pocket. 

 

We are keen to hear from anyone who may of been in the area at the time or may have dashcam footage of the vehicle leaving the area to contact us.
