Meet and greet Gobowen

We held our meet and greet today at the pavilion and railway station this morning in Gobowen. Several members of the public attended and raised some issues. The main one being speeding through the village, at various times and locations. These have been noted and will be added to our speed survey locations.

Whilst at the pavilion we had the vehicle activated board out, to warn / inform drivers of their speed.  We did notice that many vehicles rear registration plates were so dirty we could not read them. Please, before you drive make sure they are clean and legible.

If the registration plate is obscured by dirt or dust to the point where it can not be read then the driver could be fined. As a result, drivers are urged to check their number plate and give it a wipe to help protect them from being fined.

We were asked if we could hold more meetings like this in the area, which we are more than happy to oblige.  If anyone has any suggestions for a date and or location, please let us know, thank you.
