Most vehicle crime is opportunistic and happens as a result of a vehicle being left vulnerable or insecure. There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your property.
- Where possible remove all valuable items from your vehicle before leaving it unattended. - Take your sat nav and audio equipment with you. - Never leave the car with the engine running or keys in the ignition. - Never leave your mobile phone behind - Don't store items in the boot - Find a safe place for your keyless entry key at home and check to ensure they are out of range of your vehicle
