Damage to the Football pitches - Baschurch

Dear Resident

We are investigating damage caused to the recreational football pitches on Eyton Lane, Baschurch and are appealing to local residents for information.

A report was received on 29th January stating that the pitches were damaged by what appears to be a motor vehicle doing figure of 8's on the grass.

This behaviour is unacceptable and has a detrimental impact on the community within the village. These fields / Pitches are used regularly for grass roots football and other various activities and causing damage not only prevents the usage of the field it is also financially impactive.

If you have information about the damage please let us know using the online ‘Tell Us About’ form on our website www.westmercia.police.uk, quoting incident reference 00187_C_29012025

If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org

For more information please contact me or PCSO Kerry Hogg on 07870219593 or kerry.hogg@westmercia.police.uk

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.

Kind regards,

 PCSO Kerry Hogg
