Dear Resident, 

Following a recent spate of suspected arsons in the Sutton Hill area, officers are appealing to the local community for any information that may be vital to their investigation. While no injuries have been reported, there have been two vehicle fires within the last week. 

On the 09/02/2025 at 23:15 police were alerted to a car fire in Sandcroft, Sutton Hill and on 11/02/2025 at 20:30 reports were received of a caravan ablaze in Stonedale, Sutton Hill. It is not believed that these incidents are linked

We understand the level of concern that incidents like these can cause to the community, so you may notice an increased police presence over the coming days as officers provide reassurance. 

We are appealing to see if any local residents, that haven't already come forward, saw or heard anything on the dates and times stated above.
