Prolific Redditch shoplifter banned from shopping centre for two years

A prolific Redditch shoplifter has been banned from entering the Kingfisher Shopping Centre and a retail park in the town for two years under the terms of his Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).

Todd MacDonald, 28, of Fladbury Close, Redditch was given the CBO at Kidderminster Magistrates Court yesterday (Wednesday 13 February).

MacDonald is now prohibited from: -

1. Entering any premises situated on The Trafford Park Industrial Estate, Trescott Road, Redditch

2. Entering The Trafford Park Retail Park, Ipsley Street, Redditch

3. Entering The Kingfisher Shopping Centre, Redditch

4. Refusing to leave any premises when asked to by any person with the requisite authority to do so

Police Constable Mike Moore, of Redditch Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “MacDonald’s prolific shoplifting has led to this two-year CBO which we hope will protect retailers and the public from further criminality from this individual.

“Anyone who sees him in these shops or committing a crime should report it to police as soon as possible online at Report a crime | West Mercia Police .”
