On Wednesday 12th February at approximately 14:20 the below off road bike was captured on dash cam. The bike not only was riding illegally on the road but was dangerously pulling a wheelie coming over the brow of the hill going down Hartsill, Oakengates. 

We are appealing for information as to who this individual may be, or where the bike may be stored.

Very often these kind of requests generate a debate which is not always positive. Quite simply if you own one of these bikes you are not insured to ride it on the road. You must only use them on private land with the landowners permission. There are official places locally where they can be ridden so it should not be a debate of ‘give them somewhere to ride’. Also very often these bikes are ridden by riders who do not hold driving licence's - adding to the danger they pose to other road users and pedestrians.
