Just a quick update on the last weeks policing operations and activities. 

Yesterday saw Leominster safer neighbourhood team working with Herefordshire Council animal welfare and civil enforcement officers on a joint operations to stop any agricultural, livestock, vans and trailers to check ownership and documentation as part of our commitment to tackling rural crime. We stopped over twenty five vehicles and all but one, was all in order. 

Last week, we also carried out a targeted drugs operation, whereby we patrolled Leominster town and stopped checked people that were thought to be using or dealing drugs.  Out of the people that were stopped 75% were positive stop searches, mostly for cannabis, but one was for possession of Class A.

As its half term, we have some activities planned with young people to engage and deter any anti-social behaviour, but as a reminder, if you spot any ASB, please report it to us via 101 or via our online portal (which can be found on our website).
