Dear Residents,

Update in relation to issues with nuisance motorbikes around the North of Bromsgrove.

Earlier this week 2 x section 59 notices were issued to 2 of the riders involved, this allows Police to seize the bikes if used in an anti-social manner even though all other documentation is in order (insurance, tax, MOT, license).

A number of joint visits with housing are planned over this week to challenge some of the other youths involved and remind both the youths and their parents of their responsibilities around their tenancy.

Hopefully this will have some impact on the issues you are experiencing.

This is a seasonal issue that generally comes to fruition when the weather gets a bit better, we are working hard to get ahead of the game this year and tackle this behaviour by taking immediate positive action against anyone identified or suspected to be involved.

Applications have already been submitted requesting mobile CCTV is installed to help with our enforcement options.

Please feed in any other footage, descriptions, dates and times of the incidents so we can deploy officers accordingly.
