Dear Resident
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances the 'Bike Marking' event which was organised by the Hagley and Rubery Safer Neighbourhood Team which was scheduled to take place on Saturday 22nd February 2025 at Lickey Hills Visitors Centre, Warren Lane, Birmingham has been cancelled.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. As soon as a new date is identified we will let you know.
In the mean time we would like recommend that all owners of Bikes and E-bikes visit www.bikeregister.com and register your bike online.
How does BikeRegister work?
Register your bike - Add your bike details to their National Police-approved database for free!
Registering on BikeRegister means you could be reunited with your bike in the event of it being stolen. It does not, however, help make it a hard target to thieves. To reduce the chances of becoming a victim of cycle theft, purchase a high quality security chain and consider purchasing some form of Security Marking Kit.
Please also note that not all frame numbers are unique, so choosing a form of security marking will help provide your bike its own unique reference
Your details are held on a secure online database which all UK Police Forces have access to.
Registering your bike is free and provides you with the following benefits: Lifetime registration on the BikeRegister database A registration Logbook, to be used as proof of ownership Secure online access to manage your account. Your details are held on a secure online database which all UK Police Forces have access to.
Thank you | ||||
