Operation Snap update & Result - Guarlford, Malvern

Last week a driver pleaded guilty to driving without due care and was given 4 points on their licence, a fine of £100 and £140 in additional costs. The driver narrowly missed two other cars while recklessly driving along a 30 mph road in Guarlford, Malvern, Worcestershire on the 21st June last year. (See the video on Facebook link below)

Last year we had 5,811 submissions by members of the public to Operation Snap reporting incidents of dangerous driving, including dangerous overtakes, driving through red lights, close passes for cyclists and horse riders, mobile phone use and many more. We were able to take positive action in 76% of these. Op Snap continues to play an important part in changing the attitudes and behaviour of some road users and is helping to make our roads safer for all.
