Dear Residents,

I visited the seven allotment sites in the Hereford Northside area yesterday. I was warmly welcomed by plot holders who were taking advantage of the sunny dry weather to prepare their plots for the fast approaching main growing season.

It was great to engage with people from all sectors of the community and provide some crime prevention advice for the sites and in particular any sheds or outbuildings. Signage and leaflets were supplied for the site managers to distribute as appropriate. We also discussed anti-social behaviour such as youths entering sites, criminal damage and drug taking.
