Burglary appeal: Can you help?


Dear Resident

We are appealing to the community for information following an attempt burglary in Cookley.

The attempt burglary took place between 13/03/2025 20:00 hours and 09:00 hours on 15/03/2025.

unknown persons have entered the rear garden possibly via an unlocked gate and used an unknown tool to attempt to gain entry to a free standing garage in the rear garden of the property. At 03:40hours on 14/03/2025 the occupier has been woken by a noise and seen two figures on his neighbours drive get into a white hatchback. It is unknown if this is connected but there have also been reports overnight of unknown persons wandering on Castle Road, cookley at around 03:50 hours on 16/03/2025 they have been seen to approach the front door of a property.  No entry has been gained and nothing taken.  If you see or hear anything and believe a crime maybe taking place please dial 999.
