Today, Sunday 16th March  as part of Operation Ankara (Anti-social Driving) , Bridgnorth  SNT and Broseley and Much Wenlock SNT (Safer Neighbourhood Team) (including the inspector) have been out patrolling and monitoring how members of the public have been driving.  During the Operation we received a report of a vehicle being driven erratically.  Inspector Kelly pulled the Vehicle over and suspected the male was under the influence of drugs.  The male was arrested and conveyed to custody, whilst other officers searched his vehicle.  This male was also wanted on warrant so was further arrested.   The purpose of Operation Ankara is to make the roads of South Shropshire safer by preventing incidents such as speeding, ASB driving, Erratic driving and Drink / drug driving.
