Road safety concerns, in particular speeding, are consistently raised by our local communities.

Today we have been out enforcing at Llangrove and detected three motorists going above the 20 speed limit.

I can appreciate speed checks need to be completed at various times of the day.

Speeding can have a devastating impact on the safety of road users, increasing the risk of a collision and the severity of the consequences. If prosecuted for speeding, the minimum penalty is a £100 fine and 3 penalty points.

Enforcing the speed limit is a 24/7 activity for us so don’t risk it.
