PC3524 WORRALL & PCSO 6855 HARRISON were out in the Station Road, Oakengates area between 09:49hrs and 10:30hrs conducting a speed survey.

50 vehicles were checked in a 30 mph fixed speed limit and the mean average speed was 28.7 mph.

The survey is in response to some concerns raised by residents within the area, regarding the perceived speed of some vehicles and in line with the local Policing Charter.

All data is collated and sent to our Roads Safety Team and shared with Parish Councils.

Speed surveys are conducted at various times and days, throughout your local area by the designated Safer Neighbourhood teams in conjunction with Parish Councils
