Good evening, 

You may be aware that there was a police presence on the High Street near to the Post Office today at approx. 1700 hours today. We received a call from a shop due to their panic alarm being activated several times. On arrival it was confirmed that there was criminal damage and theft offences that had been committed. Two suspects were quickly identified and located by officers and both suspects will be dealt with for these offences.

The suspects were handcuffed to allow officers to conduct a search safely. Following the recovery of the stolen property they were taken to their home addresses in which their appropriate adults were informed. 

Hopefully this will prevent further issues in the town by these individuals tonight and safeguard the store that was involved.
