PCSO Scott and PC Walker have been out on foot patrol around Bridgnorth this morning visiting licensed premises about Spiking and the ‘Ask for Angela’ initiative. The officers have been ensuring that all staff are up to date with the ‘Ask for Angela’ and spiking protocols. They have also handed out useful leaflets to be displayed around the venues. ‘Ask for Angela’ - If you ever feel uneasy or in an uncomfortable position Ask for ‘Angela’ at a bar, club or licensed premises. This code phrase indicates to staff that you require help. - A trained member of staff will then support you which might be by reuniting you with a friend, helping you into a taxi or calling venue security and/or the police.
