Reporting Drug Usage

We are reaching out as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our community safe and free from crime. One of our key priorities is tackling drug-related issues, including the use, supply, and cultivation of illegal substances such as cannabis.

Drug-related crime has a serious impact on communities, leading to increased antisocial behaviour, exploitation, and wider criminal activity. We rely on the support of local residents to help us identify and disrupt these activities.

We ask that you remain vigilant and report any concerns regarding drug use, supply, or suspected cultivation of illegal substances in your area. Signs to look out for may include:

  • Strong, persistent smells of cannabis coming from a property.
  • Unusual amounts of visitors at all hours of the day and night.
  • Blacked-out windows or excessive security measures.
  • Strange buzzing sounds from ventilation systems.
  • If you have any information, you can report it confidentially via:

  • Crimestoppers: 0800 555 111 or online via www.crimestoppers-uk.org
  • Local Police (Non-Emergency): 101
  • Online Reporting: www.westmercia.police.uk

  • In an emergency or if a crime is in progress, always call 999.

By working together, we can help make our community a safer and more pleasant place for everyone. Thank you for your continued support.
