Grand Opening - Willey Village Hall Kitchen

This afternoon, PCSO's Scott and Goddard from the Broseley and Much Wenlock Safer Neighbourhood Team joined Willey Village community to celebrate the opening of the new kitchen.  The kitchen was officially opened by the contractors whom refurbished the kitchen and local MP Stuart Anderson.  Stuart will be judging a Cake competition baked by local residents and Shropshire Councillor Dan Thomas had the pleasure of judging the junior entries.  The Village hall will be open until 10pm this evening and offers a range of refreshments, cakes and also a pop up bar for those feeling thirsty.  The event was in full swing when we arrived, both were made to feel extremely welcome and it was lovely to meet the local community, volunteers and the management team.

The SNT try to attend as many community events as they can. By being accessible and meeting people, we can find out if they have concerns regarding criminal or anti-social activity that we may be able to help with.

Please get in touch with us by using our email bmw.snt@westmercia.police.uk

If you aren’t comfortable contacting us directly, you can pass on information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website: www.crimestoppers-uk.org

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime.
