Dear Resident,

Yesterday we attended an event at St Francis Xavier Primary School. We had a great time talking to the children and showing them around our police car, answering any questions they had for us. Great to see so many families out and lovely to engage with so many parents and staff. Luckily the weather was good too! 

We have attended the school in the past to speak to the Reception Year children about the police and what we do. The children are usually very excited, and we look forward to returning to speak to the next cohort of eager minds! 

We are more than happy attend primary schools and nursery schools to engage with your young children. Please liaise with your child's school if this would be of interest to them - we usually attend during the part of the curriculum where they learn about people who help you, such as the emergency services.
