As I stated in my last update, I thought this would be another short one. 

What people don’t see; is behind the scenes of running around and arresting people is all the paperwork that goes with it. With all good jobs come the Court process. 

I was called to Crown Court to give evidence this week, but it didn’t take as long as first expected, as I was called for three days for the hearing, but it only took one day. Fortunately for the victims they didn’t have to give evidence as the defendant went guilty to, the original offence of, Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH). This is due to the hard work of all the officers involved. 

I was out and about again on Wednesday 16th April, around Birchen Coppice, for a Community housing walk. It was good to see Kevin Gale again for the walk as well as the Community Housing representatives, for the area, and a mental health worker.

I have already mentioned in a previous message but; I and others from the team will be at the KDYT (Kidderminster & District Youth Trust) event at Meredith Green, Birchen Coppice, Kidderminster on Friday 25th April. I look forward to seeing some of you there. Come have a chat or tell me what issues you are having in the area, but most of all please hope for nice weather!
